31 Aug The Jackson Sun, from USA Today, features Class 101 West Tennessee
School is officially in session all over the country, and also in full swing is college planning company, Class 101. August 1 marked the beginning of the busy season for both college planners and students as common apps (Common Applications) are completed, essays are written, and ACT/SAT tests are taken throughout the year.
Class 101 West Tennessee franchise owner, Nina Heckler, spoke to The Jackson Sun about the importance of not only taking the ACT and SAT, but also for younger students to take the PSAT. The “P” doesn’t stand for “practice” by the way. Students who wish to be in the running for a National Merit Scholarship must take the PSAT seriously and perform well in order to even be considered for it.
Heckler says, “Parents don’t know that it’s a qualifying test”.
In addition to ACT and SAT prep classes, Class 101 West Tennessee helps younger students prepare for the PSAT. The PSAT prep classes for the fall will begin on September 9 and last for 6 weeks.
